ODiate® Excitation Filter, 25.0 mm, 380 nm CWL, 59 nm FWHM




The OD8-EX380-59-B Excitation Filter is specified for excitaiton of DAPI and supports similar alternative fluorophores, designed in conjunction with OD8-EM450-64-B and OD8-DCL414-D .   The filter is manufactured to provide maximum performance delivering exceptionally high passband transmission ≥ 96% avg for 380 nm CWL and 59 nm FWHM and enhanced blocking ≥ OD10 avg over the corresponding emission passband.

In addition to DAPI the following fluorophores are also compatible with this set:

Alexa Fluor® 350, AMCA, ATTO 390, CF350, EBFP, Brilliant Violet 421™, HCS CellMask Blue, Hoechst® 33258, Marina Blue®, Pacific Blue, PromoFluor-350, PromoFluor-370LSS, sgBFP, Spectrum Blue, TagBFP, Vybrant® DyeCycle Violet.

The coating systems used to produce ODiate filters use a dense sputtering process to provide robust environmental reliability to meet the highest demands for thin-film coatings. The resulting highly durable coatings meet or exceed testing procedures including humidity, thermal shock, adhesion, chemical resistance, and moderate abrasion per U.S. Military and international standards.
